It has been a little over two weeks since I planted my starter seeds indoors and the result has been a rewarding visit to the grow tray each morning to see the new growth. I have planted Cucumber, Lettuce, Peppers, Spinach, Tomatoes & Peas.  I have planted heavy on the peas this year and plan on even more seed in the ground.  I will be doing a large pea crap in my grow boxes this year.  I plan on restocking my pantry with canned peas for the year. Garden -

It is March fellow Preppers.  The month of March is important to us, it is when we can start our seeds indoors for the upcoming summer garden.  This will be my families 3rd season of gardening...still new at this skill.  We started gardening because we saw it as a very important self reliant skill that we needed to master.  It also fits very nice into our Bugging In theme for this series. Prepping...The word alone still carries thoughts of crazy families spending their well earned vacation time down in the bunker perfecting their skills to survive the great Apocalypse.  That stigma has created many to be closet preppers.  But as this community grows I see more and more people breaking out and having a discussion around a wide variety of topics surrounding prepping.
